- Passion for triathlon was sparked during a trip to Kona in 1998 were I witnessed Peter Reid take the victory. First triathlon for me came in 2000 and I have been doing them ever since. LCotter (my wife) lived in Austin and then moved to Kona to work as a race director for a couple of the triathlons in hawaii as well as train and work as a Nutrition Specialist at some of the island's resorts. We met before in Austin, dated in Kona, then got hitched and moved back to Austin to pursue life together as a Professtional Triathlete/Coach/Nutrition Specialist. It's a crazy ride but we make a good team!
