Bloody Cold
With my new residence 25 miles away from town my wallet has become rather malnourished. I have to be in town in the am and then later in the pm on Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed. It puts far too many miles on my 4Runner and costs a lot to keep her running. Last week I decided that I would start riding my fixy Fuji bike to town on Mon, Wed, Fri morning. It would be win, win with my fitness and getting my wallet back into good health.
I started out yesterday at 0700 and it was freezing cold. I almost turned round after 10 minutes but my wallet can not become any skinner so I kept trucking along. Cold weather riding gear is funny because it goes in phases. First, your too cold, then your body heats up and your comfortable, eventually you become too hot and unzip and you start back at being cold! I will take cold legs, cold arms, cold nose any day over cold fingers. The last 20 minutes of my ride were unbearable. When I arrived home the pain only intensified, and even after 5 minutes with my hands wrapped around my coffee mug I was hurting. Think I will have to purchase two sets of gloves. One for outbound, another for inbound.
I am all talk about saying i will post pictures. I do have sweet pic of my fuji all nice and muddy from my ride yesterday that I will post......probably in a month :)

DJ William Scott
Ok, here is the sweetest training sessions ever. My mentor/friend/coach/DJ came up with this idea that he would come set up his equipment in my garage and play while I kill myself on my trainer! DJ William Scott is bad ass and he will be playing for a good three hours in our garage! Is there anyone in Austin, Texas who would like to possibly take part in this? I will be doing no matter what and if it works out, then there is a possibility there will be more dates.

2008...so far, so good.
2008 has been good to Mr. and Mrs. Cotter. Still sounds funny when my wife's (that sounds funny) voice mail goes off to Lindsay Cotter. It is going to be a great year growing with Lindsay that is for sure.
Things have been getting better and better for us each and every day. I arrived home to new part time job at CATZ and love it. Currently I am working under the very knowledgeable brother duo of Bill and Tim Meyer's. Great crew there and a great work out as well. Thank you Dirk for bringing me on board.
1. New wife
2. New job with lots of potential down the road
3. Great family and family in law. Dallas thank you for all your support. Love ya
4. I'm not fat and overweight like I normally am this time of year.
5. Working with Cosmo at Hyper Vest.
I will be posting pics soon of the wedding and honeymoon.

2008
Sorry all my female readers, I am now a married a man! On January 4th I managed to stay on the big Island of Hawaii despite many oportunities to flee the island. Haha, no, in all seriousness, I do love my wife and I asked her to marry me, so she probably was tempted to leave the island.
It was a beautiful day with a bunch of great people who attendent. Jim Major was the music man and he put on a hell of a show. . As Lindsay and I headed to our suite the party headed back to my father's place where an intoxicated crew of triathletes (Matt Seymour, Chad Seymour, Tim Marr) let lose. The crew plus my dad and Lauren Keith ended playing drinking games into the wee hours of the morning.
We took off the next morning to Kaui for the Honeymoon. We had a beautiful two story condo right on the cliff overlooking the ocean on the north shore. There is nothing more soothing when going to bed then the sound of the ocean, even when the surf is so massive the surfers were being pulled into waves by jetskies!
The first two days were not the greatest as I was feeling horrible. I tried to play it cool and do all the activities of the day and paid for it dearly everynight. Day three saw a huge change and I was almost back to my normal self. We did some hiking and went over to the Wiamea canyon which was breath taking.
